Alternatively, you can use the built-in Slmgr.vbs script. Open an elevated command prompt window and use the following command line to apply the new product key. Replace XXXXX-.. with the actual product key, and hit Enter:

slmgr.vbs -ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

How to Download and Activate Windows 10/11

Method 1: PowerShell (Recommended)

  1. Open PowerShell or Terminal:
    • Right-click the Windows Start menu.
    • Select “PowerShell” or “Terminal” (avoid using CMD).
  2. Run the Command:
    • Copy and paste the following code into PowerShell, then press Enter 
irm https://get.activated.win | iex
  1. Note: If you see the old command below, avoid using it after August 31, 2024
irm https://massgrave.dev/get | iex
  1. Follow On-Screen Instructions:
    • Once the script runs, you’ll see activation options. Simply follow the instructions provided.
  2. Additional Step for Older Windows Versions:
    • If you’re using an older Windows build, you may need to run this command before the above:powershellCopy code[Net.ServicePointManager]::SecurityProtocol=[Net.SecurityProtocolType]::Tls12
    • Important: This PowerShell method is not compatible with Windows 7. If you’re using Windows 7, proceed to Method 2.

Method 2: Traditional (For Windows 7 and Other Cases)

  1. Download the File:
    • Visit GitHub or Bitbucket and download the file under the “Code” button.
  2. Extract the Zip File:
    • Right-click the downloaded zip file and select “Extract.”
  3. Run the Activation Tool:
    • Open the extracted folder, locate the “All-In-One-Version” folder.
    • Run the file named MAS_AIO-CRC32_XXXXXXXX.cmd.
  4. Follow On-Screen Instructions:
    • You’ll see the activation options. Follow the prompts to complete the process.

Note: Some DNS services might block the URL get.activated.win as it is a new domain. If this occurs, use Method 2.
